We operate under a Standard Hours Fatigue Management program and are licensed to carry Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate and Dangerous Goods. Mareeba Transport is an accredited member of the trucking industry’s premier safety accreditation program, Trucksafe.

TruckSafe Pty Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary company of the Australian Trucking Association. TruckSafe provides a business and risk management system that is aimed at improving the safety and professionalism of trucking operators nationwide.

The National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) was first offered to the industry in 1999 as an alternative compliance scheme. It has since evolved as a formal process for recognising operators who have robust safety and other management systems in place. It is also increasingly being used to show compliance with general duty requirements under road transport law.
